Notes from Hades

ast week, I was in Paris again. In this case, it was for a full week, and we were hosted by the Ministry of Finance. My flight was scheduled to arrive at 6:30 am the prior Sunday, but my connection from Washington D.C. was delayed, so I didn't end up getting there until about 1:00. That seriously cut into my sight seeing time, but I was able to see Notre Dame this time around. It's an impressive structure. It was in use at the time, since they had just finished an Armistice Day ceremony (we saw all the flags of the allied combatants on the Western Front of World War I), and they were preparing for another mass. But, still, it was impressive.
Over the last several months, I have had to bump a couple of deadlines out a week from where they otherwise would have been. To try an compensate, this deadline will be shortened by almost a week. A full week would take us to Christmas day itself, so I will be switching the deadline to a Wednesday for this next issue. Please make a note of the change.
The next deadline is Wednesday, December 26 at 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time. Please note the special day. Please do not call or fax orders after 10:00 p.m. Pacific time. My wife and I tend to retire early. Also, if you want to fax in orders, call first. We hang up on unannounced faxes.
